Melissa Baker, DMD

Originally from Indianapolis, Indiana, Dr. Baker is a patient-centered general dentist with advanced training earned through a general practice residency. She earned dual Bachelor’s degrees from Indiana University — a B.S. in Biology and a B.A. in Folklore and Ethnomusicology — before pursuing dental school at Boston University, where she earned a D.M.D. and graduated summa cum laude.

Dr. Baker completed a General Practice Residency at the V.A. Hospital in Boston, affiliated with Harvard University, where she gained extensive experience managing complex cases. She trained under experienced general dentists, oral surgeons, periodontists, prosthodontists, and endodontists, honing her skills across a wide range of procedures. She is a member of the American Dental Association.

Known for her calming presence and collaborative approach, Dr. Baker is committed to delivering care that is both efficient and centered around patient comfort. Patients describe her as “caring” and “professional”. She recently relocated to Brooklyn, where in her spare time, she enjoys playing golf, running, and trying new restaurants.
