Kristen, RDH

Kristen found her love of dentistry when she began an after school job helping out at an orthodontist’s office. At the time she was pursuing a degree in advertising design but she found that dental care combined her love of working with her hands, science, and helping people. After 13 years of being an orthodontic assistant Kristen attended CUNY Hostos Community College and obtained her dental hygiene degree in 2007. She is a lifelong New Yorker and loves the diverse group of people she has been able to meet and work with throughout her years of practice in the city. Her main goal as a hygienist is to help patients understand how much oral health affects our overall health. In her free time Kristen enjoys exploring restaurants and museums and also cheering for her beloved New York Mets!
