Meet Humberto
What’s your role here at CPW Dentistry and what does a typical day look like for you?
My role in CPW Dentistry is Treatment Coordinator. My typical day starts with checking the schedule to see if we have openings or cancellations. I also make sure the Kind Bars, coffee, lip balm, and water station are stocked. Then I greet people when they get to the office and check them out after their visit – ensuring I answer any questions they might have. I make treatment plans and check insurances, so people understand the order of treatment and what their plan might help with. Our clinical staff are super busy, so also I serve as a point of contact if they need to communicate with different departments within the practice or to patients. I usually help open the office, so before I leave for the day, I make sure the evening crew is prepared to take over so everything goes smoothly.
What do you like most about working here?
My favorite part of working with CPW Dentistry is how we create an experience that most are not expecting from a dental office – for the patients and the team. We want every person to have an enjoyable experience!
How do you want people to feel when they call the office?
When people call, I want them to feel like they are understood and that this is not just a dental office they go to, but one they are actually a part of.
What are you passionate about?
I’m passionate about writing and communication. We all want to be understood, but we all communicate differently, and I pride myself on understanding and communicating with everyone effectively.
What three words would your friends use to describe you?
My friends would describe me as happy, energetic, and sometimes funny.
If you could live in a book, TV show, or movie, what would it be and why?
I would love to live in Artemis Fowl. Which are a series of books I read as a child and loved. It follows a young boy who discovers a world of magical creatures hidden from humans. What drew me to that story is how intelligent and independent that boy was. I aspired to be just like that – and still do.
