“It’s never been a better time to be a woman in dentistry. When I graduated from dental school in 2000, women only composed roughly 45% of the graduating class. Today female enrollment in dental school is at an all time high, with 56% of the class being women. I am proud to help represent women in our profession. I believe that the increase in women dentists have transformed the traditional fear of the dental office to a trusted space where oral and overall health needs are not only satisfied but enhanced. Women have always been viewed as natural caretakers with a great tendency to be empathetic. As dentists, women are recognized for being critical thinkers, collaborative treatment planners and esthetic artists with precise restorative and surgical skills.
I have been given the great privilege to care for my patients at CPW for over 18 years. I am honored to have been trusted to help my patients prevent, maintain, restore and improve their oral health. I deeply appreciate the relationships I have formed with my patients and colleagues and look forward to serving our community as long as my time allows.”
