All Visits

  • Confirm via email: After you book an appointment you must check your email and follow the instructions in your confirmation email. Your appointment is not reserved until you click the link in your email.
  • Cancellation Policy: We kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. This helps us keep the schedule running smoothly and avoids a $75 short-notice fee.
  • Insurance: We accept many major PPO plans, including Cigna, Aetna, Premera, United Concordia, MetLife, Guardian, and more. Coverage varies based on your specific plan and the provider you see. If we’re not able to verify your insurance beforehand we’ll collect payment in full and submit a claim on your behalf so you’re reimbursed directly by your insurer. We’re not currently able to accept Medicaid, Medicare, Fidelis Care, MetroPlus, Liberty, UnitedHealthcare Community Plan, Healthfirst, Emblem, 32BJ, 1199, or any DHMO plans — but we’d love to still see you and can offer our new patient specials to help make your visit affordable. Learn more about insurance, pay-over-time options, and welcome specials here.
  • Delta Dental: If you’re an existing patient with Delta, just call us at (212) 579-8885 or use our request form and we’ll match you with one of our Delta-participating providers. If you’re new to us, our Delta-participating providers are currently at capacity, but we’d still love to see you! Call us or use the appointment request button to get scheduled.

Emergency Visits:

  • Provider and duration: You’re reserving one hour with a general dentist. If you’d like to see a specific provider, please use the request form or call us at (212) 579-8885.
  • Your visit: Your visit will include a problem-focused exam and one or two x-rays. It may also include a prescription for an antibiotic if indicated.
  • Immediate care: We understand your need for relief. Whenever possible, we offer same-day treatment to relieve your discomfort and send you on your way with a smile. Common same-day treatments include fillings, bonding, infection management, re-cements, build-ups, palliative care for gum irritation, abscess drainage, and splinting. Simple extractions may also be available on a same-day basis. Some things, like new crowns, root canals, and wisdom tooth extractions are not always available on a same-day basis, but we’ll do everything we can to make sure you leave comfortable.

Wellness visits:

  • Provider and duration: You’re reserving one hour (existing patients) or one and a half hours (new patients) with a hygienist and a general dentist.
  • Your visit: Your visit will include a cleaning, exam, necessary x-rays, and an optional fluoride treatment.
  • If it’s been a while: If you’ve been to the office before, but your last cleaning was over 18 months ago, please use the request form or call us at (212) 579-8885. We’ll schedule a little extra time.
  • If this is your first cleaning with us: Even if you’ve been here for an emergency or problem-focused visit, but haven’t had a cleaning at our office, please use the request form or call us at (212) 579-8885. We’ll need 90 minutes to ensure a great visit.
