Meet: Dr. Piamonte

Every month we feature behind-the-scenes interviews with the individuals who, together, make CPW Dentistry the special place that it is. This month, we’re featuring Dr. Piamonte.

What’s your role here at CPW Dentistry and what does a typical day look like for you?

I’m an associate dentist at CPW Dentistry. A typical day involves providing comprehensive dental treatment for our patients – anywhere from exams and tooth-colored fillings to Invisalign treatment.

Why do you love working at CPW Dentistry?

I love that everyone works together to achieve the same goal – provide the best treatment and experience for our patients.

What are you passionate about?

I am passionate about food and wine… Especially good ones consumed together! I enjoy a homemade lasagna as much as a fancy restaurant truffle soup.

What makes you feel accomplished and why?

Getting someone out of pain or making someone happy with an esthetic restoration makes me feel accomplished. The day that my braces came off, I went from being an extremely shy kid to a very social and outgoing person. I even became an actor! If I can give even a fraction of that to my patients, I would feel extremely accomplished!

What’s your go-to Karaoke song and why?

It used to be the Fugees cover of “Can’t Take My Eyes Off Of You”…but now, it’s “Beauty and the Beast” with Tatiana (one of the CPW hygienists). I also recently rediscovered Rick Astley’s “Never Gonna Give You Up.”

What’s your favorite oral health fact?

Straight or aligned teeth are healthier teeth! When your teeth are in alignment, they are much easier to maintain and keep clean between dental visits – which means healthier gums!

What’s the best way to start the day?

Hitting snooze on my alarm, and sneaking in a few minutes of cuddling with my dog, Hans. Then having some strong coffee.
