Julia Olstein, DDS

Born and raised in Manhattan, Dr. Olstein’s journey in dentistry began early as the daughter of two dentists. She attended Barnard College, where she majored in Psychology, laying the foundation for her patient-centered approach to dental care. Dr. Olstein went on to obtain her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Columbia University’s College of Dental Medicine. She further honed her skills through an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University, where she gained expertise in cosmetic and complex restorative procedures.

Following her residency, Dr. Olstein held a full-time faculty appointment in Columbia’s Division of Restorative Dentistry. During this time, she taught dental students and served the local community by providing care at a mobile dental clinic. Upon leaving her academic position, she entered full-time private practice. Now in private practice, Dr. Olstein combines her academic background with her passion for patient care. She specializes in cosmetic dentistry and complex restorative procedures, and is a certified provider of Invisalign.

Dr. Olstein takes great pride in providing compassionate and personalized care, making every visit as comfortable as possible. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association, and the New York County Dental Society. In her free time, she enjoys walks in Central Park with her husband and son, fitness classes, and baking cookies.
