Meet: Erick, Scheduling Coordinator
We’re starting a new series featuring behind-the-scenes interviews with the individuals who, together, make CPW Dentistry the special place that it is. This month, we’re featuring Erick. You’ve probably spoken with Erick on the phone when you called to schedule an appointment, so we wanted to let you know a little more about the man on the other end of the phone.
What’s your role here at CPW Dentistry and what does a typical day look like for you? I work in the Call Center as a Scheduling Coordinator. My role is to connect with patients as they schedule their appointments and understand their concerns. A typical day for me is answering all the incoming emails in our office email, and trying to improve people’s oral health by helping them schedule as soon as they can. Bringing a positive team player energy around my co-workers.
Why do you love working at CPW Dentistry? I love working at CPW Dentistry because we’re so people driven. We love making connections with patients and one another. If we find a way to make someone happy by just doing the littlest thing, we will. Everyone is on board to provide that kind of happiness.
What are you passionate about? I’m passionate about growing and learning more. I love to prove myself that I have so much to give to the world. I feel like I have hidden skills that I haven’t reached yet. I’ve been counted out in the past, so I use that as motivation.
If you had to describe yourself in five words, what would they be? Driven. Curious. Open-Minded. Jokester. Stylish.
If you could live in a book, TV show or movie, what would it be? Fast and the Furious.
Where did you grow up and what was it like? I grew up in the Bronx. It made me tough, gritty, paranoid, alert and smart. Where wearing the wrong colors would be dangerous. Where I learned and keep learning that I don’t want to end up being like everyone else. Constant motivation to do and be better.
